About Roger

Roger is a native of Pearisburg, Virginia. Roger and his wife, Ester, from Charlottesville, Virginia were married in 1976. In a revival service in 1978 he recommitted his life to Christ and began to sense a call into full-time Christian work. He went to Bluefield College and completed his college education, receiving a degree in Business Administration.

Roger then entered Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he received a Master of Divinity Degree in 1983. He pastored Calvary Baptist Church in Floyd, Virginia from 1984 until 1986.  From 1986 until 1993 he was the pastor of Rustburg Baptist Church in Rustburg, Virginia.  Roger and Ester formed the Roger Roller Evangelistic Association in 1993.

Now in his 31st year as a full-time evangelist, Roger leads 25 to 30 revivals each year, having conducted over 750 meetings. He has preached overseas on mission trips in Hungary, Cuba, Panama, San Blas Islands, India, Brazil, Honduras, South Africa, and Ghana. Their evangelistic association has provided the funds to build seven churches overseas and partnered with another ministry to build a training center in Uganda, and also supports college and seminary students who are going into full-time Christian service with grants. They have an associate evangelist in Honduras who is fully supported financially by their ministry.  In 2015 they added two other associate evangelists to their team from the country of Ghana also supported by their ministry.

They have three grown children, Rachel, Roger Jr., and Sarah. Roger and Ester make their home in Forest, Virginia.
